One of the things that a lot of people struggle with is creative mojo. Whether you keep losing your motivation or your creative well is dry, crystals can be good creative helpers.
Citrine is a beautiful stone that is yellow to brown in color. Citrine is a great ‘summer’ stone that carries with it the power of the sun. It energizes and enhances creativity, giving you that extra push to create.
One of the best things about Citrine is that it doesn’t need to be cleansed, it transmutes and grounds all negative energies. This makes it a great, protective stone, especially if you work in a negative environment or if you are around negative people. If the people around you are sucking you dry of creativity set citrine pieces around your work area.
Citrine is also a great stone of abundance, it helps you to manifest prosperity and success while also encouraging you to share your amazing gifts and talents. This stone encourages self-expression and individuality in your creativity. It helps you to be bold and beautiful and uniquely you in what you do.
If you have your own business or are thinking of starting a business I can not recommend this stone enough. It will help you foster all of those wonderful qualities that you need to be self-assured in what you are doing.
Here are ways to use citrine:
Hold them while you meditate or sit them on your sacral chakra (the chakra most associated with creativity) to let the crystal’s vibrations work their magic. Chakras are energy centers in the body that correspond to different feelings and workings of the body. Crystals are a great way to align these centers so that energy can flow through your body in a way that it is supposed to, allowing you to embrace your creativity.
Awesome post Dominee I love Citrine I have some in every room of our home. I have used my favorite piece for meditating a few times last week and had the most amazingly powerful meditations they were just awesome.
I am using citrine at the moment also in a crystal grid we are using to manifest the fund for our move to Queensland its going to happen soon I can just feel it :-)
Oooo, sending you lots of wonderful abundance-y thoughts! I hope that you get the home of your dreams.
Thank you, Dominee – I always love reading about crystals!
You're very welcome!
That sounds beautiful! I would love to see a picture!
I have a lovely citrine crystal that looks like a piece of apple pie. It is beautiful and glows on my altar.
Can I respectfully point out that what you have pictured isn't real citrine, this is heat treated amethyst.
Not wishing to pimp my own blog but can I suggest this entry as to why we should not be working with "altered" crystals http://crystaloak-ponderings.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/can-man-better-nature.html
Maybe my link to my own blog led to my comment being deleted, however I would still like to stress that the "citrine" in your photo is not citrine but heat treated amethyst. If you consider that like trees crystals are earth elders, it is important to consider the effect that heat treating has on the soul of the stone spirit.
All I am asking is that you find a photo of real citrine and encourage people to work with untreated crystals rather than a poor tortured soul.
Thank you for your comment Heather, your previous comment was flagged as spam due to the link, sorry about that, it was all disqus' fault. :)
The above picture is purely a representation, much like this one http://blessingmanifesting.blogspot.com/2012/08/a-bad-case-of-grumps.html I do not advocate using heat treated stones nor do I think that my readers will infer from the picture that they ought to. It's just a pretty picture with pretty colors. For all I know it's a picture of colored glass and that is fine with me. Like most (all) of the pictures on my blog it is simply a representation. :)
