Galentine's Day

Galentine’s Day!: Parks and Rec

Happy Galentine’s Day! If you’re a Parks and Recreation fan you know that Galentine’s Day was created by Leslie Knope. It’s a way for us to celebrate their best gal pals on February 13th. It’s a better version of Valentine’s Day! There have been so many fun alternative versions that have popped up from it. The most important thing is that it’s a celebration or love!

It’s tradition to go out for breakfast or make delicious waffles. Hang out with your friends. Go to lunch or brunch or celebrate each other in a way that’s fun.

Valentine’s Day can be hard for people so using this day to celebrate your friends can help you remember that you are loved – even if it’s not in a romantic way.

You are loved.

It’s also a great way to share the love with other people. Think about adding a bit of extra kindness and attention to everyone you meet this week can totally make someone’s day. There are so many ways that you can show a little extra love to your friends, family, and community.

Spread the love, be uplifting, and show everyone that you love, value, and appreciate them!

I present to you some Leslie Knopisms!
