Today’s Wishcasting Wednesday prompt is a fun one! What would you wish for if anything were possible? I have the greatest wish ever! I would wish to be able to transport myself into any book of my choosing. Oh yeah! How amazing would that be?
Best wish ever.
I’ve had this wish since I was a kid and I can’t think of anything more extraordinary! I could transport myself to the world of Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings, or so many other exciting, adventurous, places where reality is meaningless and so many fantastic things happen.
Yesterday I finished my newest romance novel by the fantastic author Julia Quinn. She is by far my favorite romance novel writer ever in the history of the world. My favorite romance novels take place in 1800s England. I don’t know why, but I am such a sucker for that kind of thing. Waltzes, propriety, the rules of society, lovely dresses. There’s something magical about it to me.
I love that the best part of the book is almost always the first kiss. The lead up to that one moment is always so exciting and wonderful. Most romance novels (at least my favorites) don’t have the first kiss within the first 100 pages and I love that the romance comes from the wit, friendship, and banter, between the main characters.
So if I could transport myself into any romance novel it would be one written by Julia Quinn! Friendship, humor, kisses, adventure, scandal, and of course a happy ever after!
What impossible things are your wish?
As you wish for yourself beautiful Dominee, I wish for you too. You would make a gorgeous georgian heroine! Enjoy the first kiss! x Jacs

Great wish. As Dominee wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
Oh, what a fun answer to this week's wishcasting!
~
As Dominee wishes for herself, so I wish for her also. What an enchanting and beautiful wish! Thank you for your compliment on my blog <3
The store I work at has this novel… how funny, I just looked at it the other day. :-) It was the title that got me. One of my favorite old bands, The Cure, had a song called "A Night Like This". Oh and btw don't bother with that "Fifty Shades of Grey" series I'm reading… it's just terrible. I'm only pushing myself to read it because I hate that I spent the money on it for nothing.
As Dominee wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
This wish is so fabulous Dominee, what a wonderful idea! There are SO many books I would love to wish myself into :) As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also x
How amazing that would be Dominee! What a fabulous wish. I'm with you on the build up…it just makes the story. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
Hmmmm I'm going to have to give my impossible wish some thought! But i do love the sound of your one. Oh yes, especially those with romance in far flung destinations, where there's tense chemistry and flesh ….well, I think I'm getting carried away now, so I better stop :-)!!!!
Oh my gosh!! What a GREAT wish!! YES – I'd be right there with you!! MMmmm, where to begin?? Among the Entwives or elves in Lord of the Rings? With Sister Fidelma in 5th century Ireland …. so cool!!
I seem to read in cycles, currently just after WWI in England …. (novel about novelist Josephine Tey!!) ….
As Dominee wishes for herself, so I wish for her!
Dominee, How lovely! My son and I read Inkspell together and then watched the movie, in which the characters weave in and out of the book into life..fascinating! I love the idea…especially yours which includes the first kiss (and the next!)…as you wish for yourself so I too wish as well :)
This is a wonderful wish!
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also. Your website is beautiful btw!
Oh, lovely wish, and one I truly share with you! Just to be able to go, anywhere you want in time and space, oh yes..!! :)
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also. :)
Now that is a great wish!! As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too.
Ha ha ha, oh how many times have I wished I could climb into my book! Great wish!
Oh, that SO cool! Yes! (I would be 'Jo' in Little Women…) :)

Dominee, as always I so enjoy reading your wishes, as you wish I too wish with you.
I love this delicious and delightful wish! How fun it could be to write one's own romance novel featuring themselves as the lead goddess! Blessings, ~Lisa
OMG this is such a fun and amazing wish Dominee!
As you wish for yourself, I so wish for you as well <3
As Dominee wishes for herself, I wish for her also.
I love that time period too…especially the regency era.
So we like the same type of books. :D Very original wish.
As Dominee wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
Every time we read, we get involved in a situation that we may never experience in reality. That is one of the best things about reading. However, we should also remember that every fictional story is inspired by a true to life story. Even stories that have fairies and magic are inspired by real life situations. Who knows, sooner or later, maybe you’ll get to meet your own prince charming!
